Each of us is the sum of the experiences we have had in life. The secret is to discover how those experiences are connected.

I offer professional guidance in the areas described below.

Trauma

Trauma occurs when an experience is too intense to process at that moment. It leaves traces in the body and mind, and affects how we think, feel and react. In the brain, the stress system becomes disrupted, often making people feel unsafe, tense or numb. Trauma is not a weakness, but a natural reaction to something that was too much. With the right guidance, recovery is possible — from surviving to living.

Depression

Depression is more than sadness — it’s an emotional imbalance that runs deep into the body and mind. In the brain, areas like the hippocampus, amygdala, and prefrontal cortex become out of balance, leading to memory problems, emotional overload, and difficulty with self-regulation. Key neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine are also disrupted. Depression affects how we think, feel, and function, but it’s not a weakness. It’s a signal from the system that something needs attention and healing.

Burn-out

Burnout is the result of prolonged overload, in which body and mind lose their resilience. Areas in the brain such as the amygdala, hippocampus and prefrontal cortex become unbalanced, leading to overstimulation, memory problems and emotional exhaustion. The connections in the brain weaken, making recovery increasingly difficult. Burnout is not a sign of weakness, but a signal that the system needs rest, space and reconnection.
