Recovery begins where we dare to feel
About Me
My name is Ino Stevens, and I am the founder of Hartlijn Coaching. My journey began at the Academy for Physical Education (ALO), where I was trained as a gym teacher. For many years I have enjoyed teaching. What touched me most during that period was the contact with the young people - the guidance, the support, the encouragement. At the same time, I came up against the fact that as a teacher you are often only in someone's life for a short time. While there is so much more going on beneath the surface.
In education I came into contact with young people who struggled with attachment issues, traumatic experiences, depressive feelings or suicidal thoughts. Young people who were stuck, but could not find words or the right help. That touched me deeply. It was the reason for me to delve deeper into the underlying problems, and to investigate how I could mean more to people.
That is why I started a master's degree in Orthopedagogy. During this study I delved into themes such as trauma, sexuality, treatment and the use of psychedelics within therapeutic processes. From a growing fascination for the complexity of human behavior, in young people and adults, I increasingly focused on how we can really get to the core of complaints from a holistic perspective.
My mission is to guide people who are struggling with trauma, depression or burnout complaints, or other forms of mental and emotional imbalance. In doing so, I look beyond symptoms. It is important to understand where behavior comes from, what patterns lie underneath and what someone really needs to recover. Through this approach, I try not only to help people, but also to let them experience pleasure in life again. And yes, that means that there is also room for a laugh, a bit of lightness and occasionally a healthy dose of humor. Because healing can sometimes have a smile.
At Hartlijn Coaching I combine my experience as a teacher, educational psychologist and therapist with a holistic approach. I believe that real change starts with recognizing the deeper layers within ourselves - our roots, experiences, beliefs and the influences from our environment. I also use new forms of treatment, including sessions with psychedelic truffles, always carefully tailored to the individual needs of the person I am coaching. During the truffle ceremony, you experience an inner journey using the psychoactive substances in truffles, in particular psilocybin. This substance can induce deep consciousness-expanding experiences. During the experience, sensory perceptions can change, emotions become more intense and insights emerge about personal themes, traumas or life questions. Many people describe it as a spiritual or healing experience. Where personal growth, emotional healing or breaking through ingrained patterns are often discussed.
My aim is not only to help people with 'what goes wrong', but to discover together what is possible - in a safe, honest and coordinated manner.
